Iam Coulter - Directing
Directing came looking for me, more than I went looking for it. I will always be grateful that it did. It taught me about the power of community, teamwork, imagination, innovation and faith. It significantly shifted what I know myself to be capable of.
Directing empowered me to lead, to face challenges head on, and to trust my personal creative instincts while remaining open to (and grateful for) the invaluable contributions of every artist making up the team.
I have a passion for learning and expanding my understanding through experience. Very few experiences accomplish that as well, or as magically, as directing a play.
ESPECIALLY if that play happens to be written by William Shakespeare.
